Brad Jones Racing has revealed the first of its three 2014 liveries, releasing an artist’s impression of new recruit Dale Wood’s #21 entry.
2013 Dunlop Series winner Wood was earlier announced this week as the team’s third driver alongside Jason Bright and Fabian Coulthard, replacing Dick Johnson Racing-bound David Wall.
The entry which will be known as Team ADVAM/GB will get its first outing at the V8 Supercars pre-season test day on 15 February.
“I think the car looks awesome and will be a great on track representation of our key partners in ADVAM, GB Galvanizing, Wilson Security and Strategy One now the team and I need to make sure that it goes as good as it looks,” said Wood.
“The BJR cars were very strong last year and they have a great in house engineering team who have been working hard in the very brief break to make sure that they maintain the front running pace”
The team also revealed that there would be some livery changes during the season to coincide with key commercial announcements and product launches by key sponsors.
“The companies associated with my car have a history of leveraging their involvement in motorsport to genuinely integrate with their business plans and a number of the key sponsors have some significant activations plans around their businesses and this branding for 2014,” continued Wood.
