The 2015 Pirtek Enduro Cup will see Tony D’Alberto partner Tim Slade in the #47 Supercheap Auto Racing Commodore for the second year in a row.

D’Alberto scored his best V8 Supercars finish in this year’s Enduro Cup with the pair claiming a third place finish at the Gold Coast 600.

The announcement comes in the wake of news that D’Alberto’s bid for a full time drive in 2015 had failed. Despite this, the 29-year-old is looking forward to re-joining Supercheap Auto Racing.

“I’m excited to continue with Supercheap Auto Racing as co-driver for the Pirtek Endurance Cup,” said D’Alberto.

“Although my preference would be for a full-time drive, it’s far better to be with a team that is capable of winning the sport’s biggest races.”

Supercheap Auto Racing’s primary driver Tim Slade is excited that the partnership is being renewed.

“Tony did a great job this year at Sandown, Bathurst and the Gold Coast – and I’m glad we’ll be together again next year,” Slade said.

Supercheap Auto Racing Managing Director Adrian Burgess acknowledges the value in having D’Alberto return for a second consecutive season.

“Tony did a fantastic job this year alongside Tim, and we are delighted that he’s continuing with us for next year,” Burgess said.

“We’re pushing hard to ensure that our results continue to improve into 2015 – and an unchanged driver line-up will give us further strength.”
