Tasmania SuperSprint

Symmons Plains has held Supercars (and its predecessor Australian Touring Car Championship) events for 45 years. The first Australian Touring Car Championship event was held at the circuit in 1969 and ran consecutively for three decades. Post the 1999 event, the circuit was left off the calendar until 2004, when the Championship made its return and racing has been held at the circuit every year since.
