Erebus Announce Two-Event Sponsorship Deal With Beko

Beko sign two-event primary sponsorship deal with Erebus Mortorsport

Erebus Motorsport has announced Beko as title sponsor of Will Davison’s #9 Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 at the Clipsal 500 and Australian Grand Prix events.

Beko has been an existing sponsor with the team since late 2012, backing former Erebus driver Tim Slade’s #47 car, but the leading home appliance supplier has agreed to an upgraded presence with the Erebus Motorsport #9 car on a multi-event agreement.

“Beko has been a great supporter of Erebus Motorsport since late 2012 so it’s both really pleasing and highly rewarding that the company is taking their involvement to the next level,” said Erebus chief executive officer Ryan Maddison.

“Beko have seen the value of successful partnerships with various sports and they are increasing their involvement with Erebus Motorsport at an exciting time for all involved with the team.

“The entire Erebus Motorsport family is thrilled to have them on board for the Clipsal 500 and the Australian Grand Prix where we are hoping that both of our cars can feature in the top 10.”

Following the exit of 2013 title sponsors Irwin Tools, SP Tools and Heavy Haulage Australia at the end of last season, Erebus Motorsport remains in the hunt for title sponsorship to grace the liveries of both its 2014 entries.

Lee Holdsworth will continue to run the team’s charity partner, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, as title sponsor on the #4 Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 at this weekend’s season opener in Adelaide.
