Bathust Celebration Livery

In celebration of the 50th year of Australia’s greatest race, Jack Daniel’s Racing has created a one-off unique livery for its two cars for next week’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1,000.

The traditional black and white colour scheme, which has been a fixture at racetracks around Australia for many years, has received a makeover with a stunning black and gold rendition.

Jack Daniel’s has been a proud supporter of the V8 Supercar series for the past 7 years. During this time, the Jack Daniel’s Racing team has competed at the Bathurst 1000 each year and we look forward to celebrating the 50th Anniversary this October. The 50th Anniversary livery sees the traditional white stripes replaced with celebratory gold and the Bathurst anniversary logo positioned on both the bonnet and sides of both the number #7 & #15 Jack Daniel’s Racing cars.

“We wanted to celebrate this 50th Anniversary with a small tribute as a mark of respect to such an important motorsport event. We recently launched our inaugural Jack Daniel’s Racing Go-Kart Challenge and we wanted to continue the celebration with a corresponding livery” – Sarah Nichols, Marketing Director Brown-Forman.

“Bathurst is both Rick’s and my favourite track in the Championship and even before we started racing, we used to be glued to the TV watching it at home in Mildura. I am really pleased that Jack Daniel’s Racing can add to the 50th year celebrations with this awesome colour scheme. This year’s race is also special for us as we farewell Holden and thank them for their support”
– Todd Kelly, Jack Daniel’s Racing.

Both Todd and Rick Kelly are former Bathurst winners with Todd victorious in 2005 partnering Mark Skaife and Rick taking the chequered flag with Greg Murphy in 2003, (Rick’s first V8 Supercar win) at the same time becoming the youngest ever winner. Rick and Greg teamed up the following year for back-to-back Bathurst victories.n celebration of the 50th year of Australia’s greatest race, Jack Daniel’s Racing has created a one-off unique livery for its two cars for next week’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1,000.
